In our testing of search interfaces, one of the biggest complaints was the long list of cities, school districts, or counties the user had to scroll through before finding the area where they were searching for homes. To meet this critism, we built our interface with two pages. One page has all the cities and school districts offered by the RMLS, while the other has only the metro area cities, school districts and counites, which can be put in order of preference. So if you work in the Waconia area, Washington county or the city of White Bear Lake, those names can be put at the top of the list and your buyers and sellers see them as soon as they click on the search form link. This reinforces you as the expert in those areas and best of all, makes the search experience better for your visitors.

Visitors to your website can also revise their search from the results pages or from the property details pages. This user friendly feature means your visitors don't have to keep entering their search parameters each time they want to tweak their search. Your visitors can search all properties in the Regional MLS of Minnesota's database through our BR/IDX search interface.
