Blogging Tools
Blogging has become a hot topic in the real estate community with sites like ActiveRain.com and RealEstateTomato.com promoting the use of blogs.
Many experts in the real estate/blogging community think all agents should have a blog. While we won't go quite that far, blogging can be a good way to get your message out for the public to see and in the process, connect with potential buyers and sellers. For this reason, we offer blogging tools as part of your MightyAgent Online Tools package. We give you the freedom to try blogging and if it works you will have a powerful marketing tool, but if it doesn't work for you, you can chose not to use it and you will still have your full-featured website.
We offer four blogging configurations. Simply, pick the one that makes the most sense to you!
- Built-in Website Blog. Long before ActiveRain and RealEstate Tomato, we had built a simple blogging system into our agent websites. The local news page has a feature that allows you to add articles to it. The idea was that it would be hard for agents to blog on a regular basis because of the pressures of new listings, purchase agreements and last minute items necessary to close a transaction, so to keep the blog page fresh we added local news stories. This is still a great way to test your blogging skills.
- Separate Blog Page. Offers a separate blogging page on your agent website. This page can be set as your home page or can be linked to from the menu or from other pages in your website.
- Separate Blogging Website. This option allows you to set up a separate blogging website that has it's own domain name. To do this you will need to buy a domain name or you can use an existing one. MightyAgent sells domain names for only $11.95.
- Both Blog Page and Blog Website. You can have a blog page on your agent site and also a separate website dedicated to blogging. When you write a blog and publish it, the blogs will be updated. You can also choose to publish to just one or the other.
